i notice my car would vibrate pretty bad at idle the rpm was at like 600rpm ; when it use to vibrate at idle. So adjusted the idle speed to about 825rpm in park and in drive its at like 700rpm car idles much better no vibration period since the adjustment, very smooth at idle.

I wondering whats the normal idle rpm for a protege?

 

I think about 800 for an automatic, AC off and maybe 900 with AC on.

But the question is why was the idle this low to begin with?
