Default Preferred brake rotors for Protege5???

What are brake rotors that folks around here really like? Need to replace the fronts on my son's 2003.

I am partial to Centric blank rotors for all of my cars.

I am more inclined to get the coated rotors; they do a great job of preventing rust on the "hat" of the rotors as well as the edges and vent vanes.

Roger that, shipo! Anyone else here have a favorite brand to recommend?

I drove my son's Protege5 in to work this morning as I'm in the process of putting a new timing belt on my beater '93 Protege. Wow, the front rotors are horrible! I have to order new ones sooner than later. I'll go with the Centric suggestion unless someone else has a compelling case for another brand. Thanks!

Yesterday I called the Mazda mechanic I like about my beater '93, and took the opportunity to ask about brake rotors. He likes the Centric products and they used them in the past quite a bit. Up until very recently though they had been using ATE, but the Protoge5 parts seem to be discontinued. He had checked for me some weeks ago and couldn't find a pair in stock, but yesterday he located a pair of fronts so I ordered those.

Just wanted to add a vote for Centric in case anyone else finds this thread looking for rotors.
