Well I just found this forum, I have been on msprotege since 2002 and Ottawamazda.ca for over a year.
Thought I might as well join up here it seems to be more of a technical forum then the rest.

A bit about my car 2002 protege 5, sunlight silver with chrome fade tint and injen cold air intake, moonroof, stick and a/c.
Its used as a daily driver so any serious mods were out of the question. My wife drives it 80% of the time and she absolutely loves it.
We have just rolled past 150 000 km on it and the only problems we have had so far was an EGR valve at 45 000km, hatch 'shock' that helps liftgate open @50 000km, Seized rear brake piston 75 000km. Since then it has had all new rotors and pads.

Now onto my question!!!!

My rear window washer pump stopped working, very shortly after that the rear wiper motor stopped working. I have checked the motor and there is power to it and all fuses check out okay. I cleaned and greased the wiper shaft (sounds kinky) and still no luck. I haven't checked the pump for the washer fluid to see if it has power because I am lazy. Any help would be appreciated.
