Hello All - I just purchased a 1998 Protege 1.5L Auto with 90k miles. I have a 98 Ford Ranger with 185k miles on it, so i bought this car to take over as my commuter vehicle and hopefully extend the life of my truck. I drove the car about 25 miles to my house yday and it seemed to run pretty well.

My Plans -
Oil&Filter Change Synthetic. All my cars run on synthetic.
Trans - Drain & Fill run till hot, then Drain, pull pan change filter and fill.
Plugs & Wires
Check Tires - Balance at minimum, replace as needed.

Problems -
Some vibration at idle while in gear. Worse if heat/ac is on.
Noticed a clunk while making a sharp left turn. Perhaps CV? Didnt happen again when i did circles in a cul-da-sac though.
Front L Fender has some rash. Prob will check out junkyard for replacement.

Anyway, so that is a couple hours worth of work. Anything else I should do/check this weekend? Any suggestions? Also, I paid $1500.
