So, i have a 2001 protege es 2.0 with 218k. Several months ago the CEL would come on and off for about 1-3 days every couple of weeks, then it stayed off for a good while, about 3 months. Here lately i started noticing when i started it, it would be jumpy and seem like it was going to stall and idle with a low rumble sound. However, it generally only does this after i turn it off and start back up (like when i get gas). When i start in the morning or after work its fine. The other day i was idling and i noticed it would gently skip and the rpm would dip by about 100 every few seconds. Got some gas. Started up and it was rough and the CEL came back on and is still on. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
