Try looking at the snorkel from the Air filter, or the seal on the air filter box itself.

Cold air intakes are a waste of money for street applications. The intake on the 1.8l is already upsized for the engine. Then if you start bringing too much air in, you will need to start bringing in more fuel to compensate. You will not bring up horsepower with just a cold air intake alone.

How about for the 1.6 becasue i just bought an Injen intake and dont want it if it wont add more horsepower. I also saw this thing on corksport.com that you replace the fender liner with onethat scoops up air for the intake, is that going to be a waste of money too.

how do you get to that from the link you left, it doesnt pull up anything for airraid. is that an intake or is it something you can add on to the intake? does anyone know if i would need something to keep the air filter dry (like a k&n drycharger) because the air filter is no longer in the engine bay with the Injen intake
