Default Idle too low, o/d blinking (and rpms shoot up), reverse (engine mount)? 1995 Protege

1995 Mazda Protege LX Auto

I was having some problems with my Mazda Protege this weekend. First, it idles really low, about 600-900, which it has since I bought it 2 months ago, but it just recently starting going as low as 100 and it even stalled out while I was parked, twice. While idle it also moves up from 600-900 by the way. Also the overdrive light randomly starts blinking and the RPM shoots up to about 3500-4000. When I pull over and let the RPM go down to about 1000 the o/d stops blinking and I can drive. It happened 3 times in the span of driving for 10 minutes.

We decided to work on it today. We adjusted the screw on the throttle body and now it idles at 1000. It stopped shaking, the rpm stopped moving up and down, but when I am parked it's at like 1900 rpm. (Does it matter much as i'll rarely be in park?). It still randomly gives o/d blinking and the rpms shoot up to 3500-4000, but stops once you pull over and let it go back to 1000.

ANOTHER PROBLEM (Long post, I know..) is that when I shift to reverse it like shoots back (can't think of better word)It like jerks. We think it's the engine mount

If anyone could help me that'd be great.

Definitely sounds like a solenoid issue. Let us know what comes up!

It's been like a week, my cars been in the shop. He says he tried everything he thought of. Getting the car back tomorrow and gonna see if anything's different. Good news is he's not charging me a dime, even though he switched out parts, and went to junkyard to find pieces. He said it was a challenge, but recommended me to someone else who I have to pay $100 just for them to look at..
