Default How do I...

Hi, I have a Mazda protege 2000 LX. I need to remove the front drivers side seat. I was wondering if any one knows if there is a quick release way to remove the seat from the track or do I need to just start unscrewing stuff until the seat comes out.

Any helpful instructions would be great, Thanks...

Most likely it will remove with 4 bolts attached through the baseplate of the tracks to the floorpan. You shouldn't need to take the seat apart at all.

Here is a little picture of the seat and four attaching bolts that sstlaure refered to. They are covered with little trim panels that should easily pry off. Don't forget to disconnect the electrical connector for the seat belt switch before trying to yank it thru the door.
