Just purchased a 99 mazda protege es for amain vehicle. I am looking for a hood latch for the car because it was wrecked and missing. My question is where can I get one for the lowest cost, and also will and other mazda/ford hood latches work(being the same part of course)????? Seen a miata hood latch on ebay looks the same will it fit??? Thanks guys, Dan.

 

Should be able to get a protege hood latch at any junkyard.

 

well already tried that. Just so happens nobody has one even in columbus.
