High rpm at idle? Here is the procedure for setting base idle speed on a PR5.
Warm engine to normal operating temperature and make sure all electrical loads are off (Fan, A/C, Rear defroster, headlights, etc).
You next need to ground the TEN pin in the DIAGNOSIS connector as shown in the first drawing. It is located in the left rear corner of the engine compartment by the wiper motor. Once the TEN is grounded then set the base idle speed to 700 rpm +/- 50 by turning the AAS or Air Adjust Screw on the throttle body as shown in lower pic. Screw is near where the black rubber boot connects to the throttle body and on the back side. DO NOT ADJUST THE TAS SCREW as it is preset from the factory and there is not setting procedure once it has been moved unless you want to buy a new throttle body.
