Hello,

I have a 1999 Protege 1.6 and my catalytic converter is going bad. Therefore, I want to know where I can order this part for a good price. Also, are there different kinds?

P.S. My car is also making a weird bubbling noise as well and my rpm needle is moving up and down at the same time when this occurs (I have a new radiator, thermostat and coolant is good). Can this be related?

I actually just ordered a direct fit cat from partstrain. I asked my mechanic if he could clean it out and he said he couldn't because it is electrical or something like that.
