Default Is this a good deal? 02 protege es

Hi forum!

Im new to this but I have a few questions. Im looking to buy a new car and I found a nice deal on a Mazda Protege 2002 ES. Here's the deal:

$7000 (Canadian)
96 000 kms
Black
2 sets of tires
5 speed manual
No accidents, 1 owner, all service reports

Anyone know of any problems with this model/year of car? I've only heard great things, the only drawback being power, but I'm not huge on power. I'm more concerned about reliability. Thanks!

What is the current exchange rate? I would venture to guess that most folks on this forum, including myself, are American. My guess is 7,000 Canadian would be about 5,000 American, but the American dollar has been falling, so it might be closer than that.

96,000 km = 59,520 miles

BTW, where are you in Canada? Just curious. I'm near Sacramento, California.
