Default Dead 2000 Protoge

The car does not respond to the ignition key. No lights on the dash, no starter noises (not even the old "Click Click"). The battery has 12.65 volts both at the posts and at the connections to the under-hood fuse box at the 100 AMP fuse, so it's not the battery. There's a relay in that fuse box that's called the "main." Could that be the issue? How does one test a relay, other than to put a new one in?
Old school tells me it's the ignition switch, but I have no idea where the switch is in this car. Is it built into the lock cylinder or is it isolated further down the steering column and how hard is it to get to?
Any help appreciated.
Keith

Looks like the ignition switch is #5 on the locking cylinder picture. Well that's easier than some I've seen. Thanks.
