I had my rack and pinion replaced recently and I've noticed a clunking sound when I turn my wheel to the right. I had my dad check it out and at first we thought it was the outer tie rod but that seems to be ok. He would have me turn my wheel all the way to the left and you wouldn't hear anything but once turning the wheel to the right you would hear a huge clunk. You also don't have to turn the wheel very much before you hear it. It's really loud and annoying as I have to drive my car. I don't drive very far as you can see my car is very old but she's all I have.

Does anyone know what this clunking sound can be and if it can be fixed without having to take my car completely apart again???
