Default Fallen off A/C controll ****

The fan speed **** in my '02 Protege ES did the same thing. Did you ever figure out how to remove the radio panel so that the **** could be fixed?

On my '98 you have to remove the radio with a removal tool. The holes for the tool are covered with a plastic piece on either side. Once the radio is out there are screws holding the bezel in place. the one screw that is easily missed is behind the ashtray. Once the bezel is off the whole climate control unit can be unbolted. I bet your newer model is put together in a similar way.
