Yesterday I changed the car battery and a blown Main fuse. The car didnt want to start, the alarm kept going like crazy. Finally I heard it deactivated and the car started. I was able to get home but once I turned off the car it won't start again and the alarm keeps blaring. I just read somewhere that closing the car and opening the driver side door with the key will reset the alarm. Right now I am unable to try this since my neighbors are sleeping. What can I do?
Also the radio and clock are not working.

 

Check your battery connections. Make sure they are good and clean. The positive terminal tends to corrode over time.

 

I did the key thing and it worked. The radio and the key fob not working were blown fuses.
