Theairbag light is flashing on my 2003 mazda protege ES. Initially thought that it was due to the battery which was dying and so had that replaced. But the light is still flashing. Any ideas beforeI take it to my dealer and spend some money ? Also, does anybody have the codes for the air bag light ?

I should have mentioned in the post that my cruise control does not work now either. When i try to turn it on, i hear a clicking sound in the coming from the glove compartment.

IIRC, a flashing light means service is needed and a light that is staying on means a failing bag.

 

man i would take that to the deal and get that fixed before it blows up on you

 

did you get this problem fixed? i am having hte same issue, but my horn doesnt work either. let me know.
