Default 99 Trunk wiring help

Hey everyone, I am new to the Mazda family, just got lucky and found my protege for $300 and I bought a new trunk for her. The trunk went on great! Very easy clearly, anyway to the point. My old trunk worked fine it was just ugly and rusted heavily where the liscense plate was attached.

Now the issue. There are 7 wires, dark green, light green, red, black with 2 lines on it, And 3 blacks that are so similar. I sliced and attached the wires to their brother wire, yet my trunk will not pop still. Anything I am confused on? What. Could be wrong? Thanks!
