hi guys,..been away a while.

can anyone help me locate the ac filter for the protege.

i've got a momentary foul scent when the ac is first turned on and i would like to locate and change the filter in hopes of eliminating this odor.

 

it should be under the plastic where your wipers come out all you need to do is open the bottom of the wiper and there will be 2 nuts holding down the wiper to the wiper assembly un screw those and take the wipers off then along firewall under the hood there will be clips and some screws and just take off the plastic and the filter should be in there.
