Ive had this problem for about a week now. When i get to lights and stop when i start to go sometimes it starts to go then shuts off. Then today randomly my O/Doff light came on (no flashing) and did not shift from 4k rpm at 70 mph to 3k. (it turned on after i got on the highway) Had to shut car off to get the light off and shifting to work right. What is going on? I think the first thing is my fuel pump but the O/Doff light coming on and not shifting is not good! Plz help

 

sounds like a bad wiring connection, when you go to accelerate it pulls on a wire, killing the engine... could also be pulling the harness for the OD light. If that's the case, you should be able to go poking at wires and see if the engine stalls.
