2002 Protege5 Manual won't stay in 3rd gear
Hi all! I just purchased a Protege5 and noticed that 3rd gear likes to pop back into neutral. It's pretty difficult to reproduce.
After some initial research, I've learned that it's possible that it could be a messed up shift control rod bushing. If anyone has any suggestions as to where the easiest place to start for this would be, I would greatly appreciate it! It happens about 50% of the time. Sometimes heavy acceleration won't do it, sometimes it will. It's very odd.
