I have a Protege5 that is flashing the following air bag codes:

2 long - 2 short - pause - 2 long - 6 short - pause - (repeats)

The car was in an accident some time before I bought it, and I know that the driver's side impact bag was deployed. I assume that one of these codes is for that. I would really like to know what the other one is!

Hi ... well my name is IDEL - VA. if you readchecking by my name... you will find a question very similar what you having right now!. Since a year ago!, i'm having a unregular showing short (quick and fast) airbag red light in the dash.

A guy here!!!... he said, i could have a code 32 (means bad connections)... maybe under stering wheelor under de dash... just becarefull use gloves and becarefull with electr. shorts because you can actived the air bag....badbad dude!!!

So; i'mwith the same problem before was one in a while... now!!! is everyday!!!...any sugestion or info...just write here!!!!! bye
