2002 protege won't start

Default 2002 protege won't start

hey guys i have an 02 protege it won't start i know the problem is within the ignition because i have no spark on ANY of my coils.. i called the parts house and said there is no ignition module, is there any other testing or any other way I can find out whats not causing it to get spark?? also I checked the 30amp fuse under the box and its still good. Any ideas any other questions you got for me ill be glad to get back to u.

well I hooked it up to an OBD2 reader and it shows nothing... im still trying to wrap my finger around this problem. i checked every fues in the car and under the hood still nothing. is there anyway I can test the Camshaft position sensors?

Skaraider: I don't have a 02, I have an '98. You may not have an ignition module but I am sure you have a coil pack. I would check the coil pack and the harness/ wiring to the coil pack.
I believe the camshaft position sensor is used to synchronize the fuel injectors. The ignition timing should be controlled off the crankshaft position sensor.
You may also want to look if the ECU is properly grounded and wired.

alright, is there any test i can run on the sensor to maybe see if its working? thanks for the reply

ended up being the timing belt had alot of missing teeth which finally broke enough off to where it would just spin the bottom pully and not the cams solution found im up and going again
