Default 2002 protege std trans front caliper piston issue

I have a 2002 protege front R passenger caliper piston will not compress , havent tried left side driver yet, is there some magic to compressing it? I had a 1999 protege and was able to compress it no prob. Any advice?

Nothing special about compressing front calipers.
Place a plastic tube on the brake nipple and into a container, crack the nipple and gently try compressing the piston with a G clamp. If it compresses and bleeds out then something further up the line is faulty.

If it doesn't compress, then its time to rebuild or replace the caliper.
