2001 Protege transmission swap compatability
I am looking to swap a manual transmission into my protege SE 1.6L
I have a nearby wreckers that has manual transmissions where you unbolt them yourself. There are only 1.8L of a year older model and 2L protege's there of the same year. Can anyone let me know if they are compatible in any way? Where I could use a 2L or a 1.8L on my 1.6L block?
Also what other components will I need?
