Thats the one!! You are correct, it IS a fuel filter. There are other part numbers too if you would like them go here: JS Filters :: Application Cross Reference and Image for JS : Fuel Injector : FS9067

The filters are on the left side, these should be all the same from the different manufacturers. Now to see why RockAuto didnt have it listed.............

The filters you provided seems to be the one that i had bought with the different connection. Here is a photo o the two filters side by the side. The one on the right is the one from the vehicle and the one on the left is what i had bought before i removed the filer:

They both are quite similar but the position of the rings for the clamps that lock the hose is in different positions.

The black one should still work, only difference seems to be the mounting on the bottom. Have you taken the old filter to Mazda itself and see what they say or have?

Both the inlet and outlet connection is different. Im from St. Vincent and there is no mazda dealership here. I normally buy most of my parts online and the local parts shop stock most of the parts but quite at considerably high prices compared to what i pay for them online..

What exactly do you mean by different? Is it reversed? Or is it because the connectors are shorter? Or are they a different style? On an edit, I do SEE they look different and looked back to the first pictures, it seems that this filter is for a hose clamp style hose instead of the snap on one you have................annoying. I try to find more info, I can stop at my mazda tomorrow and ask them as well.
