Friend of mines got a 2000 Speed Protege, Stock, Recently the car started stalling alot when stopping.

Now Usually in second gear, right when the turbo spools up, the car bucks hard once, then resumes back to normal..


a mechanic said the idle motor could be bad, but wasnt exactly 100% sure.. what could be going on?
