2000 Protege - runs rough
I just bought this used about 3 months ago. It has 97000 miles. it was running fine until last week.
It is now is running rough. At idle it is not so noticable, but in gear under load it is very rough.
All fluids are clear and at full level.
ODB2 codes are:
P0102 Mass or volume air flow circuit low input
P0103 Mass or volume air flow circuit high input
P0113 Intake air temp sensor 1 circuit high input
P3020 Cylinder 2 misfire detected
I can't figure why only cylinder 2 is misfiring (per OBD codes). If it were a timing issue then all 4 should misfire at some point. I'm thinking maybe the computer/controller is goofed up. Maybe a reset would work.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

thats normal for only 1 to miss fire check your spark plugs make sure there firing, if so check the wire to make sure power is getting to the spark plug if its good then its your ignition coil, where all your spark plug wires are connected to. i had the same thing happen to me, but i have my doubts its the ignition coil because if it was you should be having 2 cylinders missfiring not 1 cause each side of the pack is running 2 cylinders so i would be leaning more towards a spark plug or wire not working, even if the spark plug was gaped wrong that would cause the problem, for the rest of your codes do a compression test on the motor that would help solve the problem of p0102, po103, for po113 check your mass flow air sensor and maybe clean it or something it might be dirty
