Did you ever find out what was causing this issue?

Tonight I pulled the EGR off and cleaned the hell out of it. I was surprised, with only 51k on the odometer, there is no way that little plunger in there was able to move. It was really gunked up. So I sprayed, scrubbed..sprayed some more. Seems to make it better....stutter is still there but doesn’t buck the car like it did. I’ll get a better feel for it on my 30 mile drive to work in the morning. The check engine light on mine is for bank 1 02 sensor, which I found on amazon about half the price than what local has, so I’m going to order that. But if it feels better tomorrow like it did on my quick drive around town, I’m going to pull the intake and scrub it down. There was a video I watched on YouTube that a guy showed, with the intake off, the channels the EGR flows thru. I want to get those good and clean. Those passage ways are a lot smaller than the actual EGR ports, and In my thoughts, I would think those would clog fairly easily. The hose right after the EGR, goes in to a 1/4 inch pipe...I bet that thing is carboned shut. I would also like to figure out a way to plug the hole in the intake hose, that the valve cover vent goes to, just to keep all that oily air out of the engine.

Seems like the surging has gone away for the most part. Still every once and a while but not as common. I’m wondering if it’s more common when it’s hot out??? I have been noticing a squeaking belt when the engine is cold. Squeals like hell, but when it finally stops, the car takes off. Whatever is causing the belt to squeal isn’t turning as it should and bogging the engine. I need to look in to it more but wanted to post it before I forgot. I hope next week to have some garage time and investigate it

Default Identical symptoms - EGR sensor disconnected runs great

Been searching, tried plugs, wires, coils, cleaners, thought it was plugged exhaust.

Finally found unplugging the EGR she runs like a baby.
