Hi, My car Mazda protege 2000,1.6L ,It happens twice I can't start it.the starter works (battery is fine,because Ican't start it even boost up). and the ignitor I think is also good (I change it 1 year ago). the first time, after several start fail, I ask some guys push my car, the car start ok. the second time even push it It can't be started.After twice pressure start (engaged 1 shift when car moved) failed, I start it in key on. Is there same problem as this? Thanks!

 

Last night, It happened again. I can't start it until the fourth start. I changed oil and air filter on Monday. I hope I can get some suggestion about this problem. Thanks in advance.

 

sounds like all that is wrong is a bad ground wire somewhere. check the grounding location(s) and see if they are solid. if there is any play,you need to tighten them down.
