Hello all! First time poster. I have a friend with a 1996 Protege ES that is having a bit of a odd problem. She wen to start it the other day and , nada. Thinking it was the battery, that was first jumped and then replaced. Then the starter was checked out, and is fine. Through a series of events, we think it may be the security system has "locked out" the ignition system. I have a video of the flashes and was wondering if anyone else has seen this before and if they may have a answer/fix.
