Default 1994 Protege!!!! i Need some Answ. pls:!!!

we'l i have a 94 protege and i dont really know anything about mazda so yea!!!

my question is why does my car shake everytime i be steppin on my brake???

how is it when my car is on a full stop my car seems to be having a hard time getting power and sometimes when im coming to a full stop my car will jus die once i let go the brake????

the brake problem - check the front brakes, drum brake or disc ??? if drum brake , the drummaybe need replacing( machining old one just as costly) if disc brakes , the rotors may need replacing. Have certified mechanic check brakes if DIY skills rusty.

idling problem - replace plug and wires to start with , see if that helps stalling problem

are you an automatic or a standard, the shaking i think is warped brake rotor's really the mazda doesn't have alot of power to begin with but if it seems like it should have more you should take your car in for a full tune up (timeing belt, spark plugs and wires,oil change, filtre change) everything

possibly check your vac hoses too.. kinda sounds like my problem. always check your engine fluids old engines wear and tear.
