Has anyone had an aftermarket exhaust system installed on a first generation Protege DX? Mine is a SOHC 1.8 with auto. I'm looking to inprove performance a bit. I've heard that Pacesetter may make a cat-back system that fits. Also have a local shop that fabricates mandrel bent exhausts but for lots of $.
I have already installed a K&N air filter and removed the superfluous plastic ducting to the air box, so I dont think I can improve the intake side much more without spending a lot of $.
Any comments and opinions would be appreciated!
