I have a 1992 mazda protege lx (vin is JMIBG2262N0510133) and I need help getting a power window regulator since they are all discontinued and I can’t find anything in junkyards. Current it has some regulator out of a Mazda van when I bought it and it fits but the motor doesn’t stop in the right place going up. It continues to go up when the window seal which cause the plastic gear to strip and I try 3d print a new one but it didn’t last much longer then the oem. Does anyone have a connection on getting and oem power regulator, or know if any of the other model regulators work in it like from the 99-00 mazda since there regulators look very similar, or know if I can reprogram the current motor to stop sooner? If so, plz help.
