Default smog conversion

What up? I know this is a long shot, but I thought I might give it a try... I have the opportunity to buy an '84 Mazda B2000 for the awsome price of $200 from a friend. Everything looks good and runs good, except one problem... no emissions. It's registered in Iowa, and I would have to convert it to California emission requirements. I know I would need EGR, PCV, cat, etc, but the difficult part would be vacuum. With new vacuum lines, the current vacuum diagram would be obsolete. Does anyone have any idea as to how difficult this project would be and everything I would need?
thanks
