Default Serpentine Belt Results

At 60,000 original miles, I finally got a chance to replace my B2300 (w/A/C) serpentime belt.

The results were better performance of the engine and components overall. The pick-up of the engin increased. The tension in the steering wheel returned to original feeling. Overall, I believe everything is performing better due to the bearings that function these engine and components work better.

All it took was a 3/8 inch ratchet, and a screwdriver. The easiest way to slip the belt onto final guide of the system was from under the truck next to the oil pan (Crankshaft?).

Taking 20 minutes to perform this maintenance was such a benefit that I will do it much earlier than 60,000 miles. At $30.00, I may just do it every 30,000 miles as the engine gets older.
