Default carb or injected??

i'm new to mazdas and have a 93 2600i with a blown head gasket i was going to rebuild and also bought a 88 b2600 as a solid donor. i was looking at the forums and it looks like the injection engines have alot of problems. i was wondering what others prefer, carb or injection? Also if i was to go carb i read about the weber carb conversion, would that elemenate that mess of vaccum lines? most of the carb. truck's lines are unplugged and plugged with random bolts making it run rough. thanks
