Hey all

I just test drove a 1992 ms-3 precidia v6 1.8l (?). Definitely liked the car, it was fairly clean, a few rips in the seat, no rust or dings on the outside. Everything seemed to be working nicely except:

The headlights do not work, when handbrake is released, clicking sound comes from passenger side foot well (relay area?) Until headlight control turned fully on (two clicks). Is he right with his diagnoses of the relay?

Also when driving over bumps there seemed to be an abnormal amount of noise coming from the car, but i couldn't place the sound to anything I knew. Also, it sounded almost like a spring of some sort was rattling in the clutch area when going over bumps.

I believe they are asking for about 1500 which is more then what i would like to pay, but i want to know your take on what the car is worth. Thanks for your help!

 

If it's rust free and only a few minor things, it shouldn't be too bad of a buy but go by the kbb or nadaguides for pricing. Also remember that mx3s are rare in good condition without rust right now. If you don't want it, post pictures of this car, maybe my buddy could ****** it up. I have one and it's a blast to drive with only the 1.8, hopefully ze this summer.
