Hey guys,

I have an oil leak coming from the part I circled in the pictures. I'm assuming I'll have to replace the whole part though. Can someone name the part? Maybe tell me how much I'm looking at to repair it myself and how difficult it would be.

That's your transmission cooling lines for the automatic.

 

The lines rust badly there because they are right near the exhaust manifold, the extra heat makes the iron turn to rust that much faster. When you replace the lines coat them in some high temp paint and they shouldnt rust for many more years.

 

Thanks! I called a place and they said they use a rubber hose now and that if I brought my current transmission cooling line displayed in the picture causing the oil leak, that they would set me up with the right size hose. Is this what I'm looking for? I'll probably need new bolts as well right?

 

You know any websites or stores to buy after market parts such as the transmission cooling lines that I need? Or an alternative to fix it?
