Hi all, newbie here! I just bought a 1997 MPV, 2 wheel drive, and the engine light came on....my mechanic said the code it's throwing, is for a bad transmission range selector switch....is this the same thing as a neutral safety switch? I look around on Google, some say yes, some say no.....any help appreciated, so I know which part to look for! Thanks!
