Torque wrench specs - rear air shocks
#2
If you can find a service manual with the exact fasteners and any torque value that may be recommended that you look at what type of bolt /fastener it is and then go online for torques setting by bolt type.
bolt/nut torquing chart
Metric bolt/nut chart
This is often asked on various forum not all automotive related. But it goes back to basic all types of fasteners have a torque value from engine bolt to sewing machines.
The thing that is as important is bolt tighten sequencing. This can make or break a project and is often overlooked or not done correctly. I also recommend seeing the recommend increase torquing vales and add a few more. Example Wheel stud torque to 100lb. 50 lbs then 100lbs is standard. But better to go 50, 75-100 and then double check the last number value.
I do not recommend the use of any thread sealer unless it is specially used from the factory Or if you are experienced in its use.
