My wife's 04 MPV with 48K miles began sputtering at 40-60 mph. Accelerating smooths the MPV but it now sputters from idle to 60 mph. We have not seen the CEL yet. I suspect a faulty coil pack or spark plug.

Any troubleshooting advise would be appreciated.

 

sound like a fuel issue,started out at higher rpm and getting worse.might change the fuel filter,or check fuel pressure,pump might be getting weak.wouldnt think it would be plugs or anything with 45,000 but could be.a bad coil/plugs would set the CEL im thinking
