Hello everyone. I have a Mazda mpv 2005 model. For quite sometime the engine has been producing this rattling sound when the gear is shifted into reverse or drive. Received two different opinions from mechanics. They said the belt tensioner was faulty and we had it changed but the sound persisted. On second opinion we were told one of the engine mountings is faulty. Before changing that, would appreciate your views on this matter.
