Default Problem with cool air for Mazda MPV 1997

I own a Mazda MPV 1997 and recently have been having trouble with getting cold air. The fan is working and all, but there is no cool air coming in. I've already replaced the serpentine belt for the AC (which I recently found out had snapped). I thought that replacing the belt would fix this problem, but I still can't get any cool air coming in. Does anyone have any suggestions? Anything I should look into? I would greatly appreciate it.

I regularly check the levels for the fluids and all, I can't seem to spot the problem as to why my AC is not functioning properly.

Edit: Working on my car shortly after posting this. I noticed the AC belt snapped AGAIN. I'm starting to think I have two separate problems. The first being the cool air not coming in and the second being the AC belt having been destroyed... or perhaps there's one issue at the root of these problems?

Your compressor is locking up. A new compressor/drier/expansion valve and probably condenser will likely be required.
