I have a 2004 MPV, 3 liter engine. In the middle of the night my turn signal lights and license plate lights turn on by themselves. (Not the turn signal itself but only the lights). I checked all the fuses and no problems there. A scan did not pick up any engine codes. The car starts fine, lights work fine while running, but when I turn off the ignition and pull the key out the lights stay on. I have to disconnect the battery to turn them off. I'm stumped as to what the problem is?

 

Short circuit somewhere. Or bad karma
