Default mazda MPV experts help 1996 sport

hi
2 weeks ago the mpv overheat it lost the radiator cap, it was bend and old so i replace it
the next day it overheat again,the hose was leaking i replace it, wife drove the van for 2 weeks no problem (she said ) she only drives 3 milles a day to the store or visit family close to where we live
yesterday she when to the gym 10 milles and 10 back i notice when i when outside that there was a lot of green water on the ground the engine was very hot and it was two hours later i add water and found a leaking water pump ,that i replace this morning so today i took the van 10 minutes later it got hot and i lose power when i lower the window i notice a loud noise from the engine i open the hodd and found a big water steam comming from the back left side of the engine head after 2 hours and no towtruck i start the engine no noise the engine drove ok back home 5 minutes later i lose power the engine made a noise again but i made it home with a very hot engine, is been 4 hours tur it on again engine sounds ok but after 3k rpms there is a vibration
so now i believe my wife drove a very hot mpv for 110 milles
what can be wrong ? or what happend?
do i need a new engine or just 2 new head , or rebuild the factory heads
what else can be bad ? there is no water on the oil,the oil looks clear it was change 3 weeks ago we use mobil syntetic and there is 95k milles on the van

wow a week no reply ? there is no mpv expert here ?
ok anybody knows where can i find the service manual ? and i didn't said free, i can pay

I'm no MPV expert, but I've overheated a few cars in my day.

I'd check your thermostat...It overheated for a reason, either the fan isn't kicking on, or the thermostat isn't working which doesn't allow the coolant to circulate through the radiator.

Hard to say what damage was done. Heads may be warped, I'd pull them off and have them decked flat. Put it back together with new seals and see where you are at.

You could do a compression check on each cylinder to see if they are sealing up properly.

thank you took the heads out i was surprise to find a 4 layer metal head gasket the heas are comming back on friday and i will install over the weekend

anything i need to check or change before i do this ?
how do i clean the block ?

I'm glad that you figured out the problem. I just got a 96 myself and I am building up my level of expertise too. I don't know if mine is a sport model but its 4WD (with the fancy 4WD decals on the doors) and it sits higher than most other MPV's that I have seen.
