Hitch Wiring
Hello!
I recently wired my 2005 MPV GT for trailer towing and I have ran into a snag....
I purchased a tail light converter and a 7 pin plug.....hooked them all up....and everything worked good when I was testing it out in the garage hooked up to the trailer before doing any towing.
My problems started about 2 mins into my first towing expedition....It seems like everytime I lock the van with the key fob the fuse for the hazzard lights blow (also controls the turn lights). The hazzard lights worked in testing, so I am not sure why the key fob is causing this problem now?
Has anybody had this problem with their MPV?? Is there any known problems with this or know fixes??
I changed the fuse to a 15A (from 10A) and it did not blow after that.....I changed it back to 10A after my trip.
HELP!!!
