Last night I parked my car on the street next to my house. Its a bit down hill..... I turned my car off and then thought to turn the wheel towards the cement. When I did this my steering wheel locked up and now I cant turn the key in the ignition or move the steerting wheel and I need my car to get to work and college. Can someone tell me what I need to do it unlock it. I have a 1994 Mazda Mpv. Thank You

Definitely sounds like your key interlock is stuck. Try pulling the steering wheel as hard as you can one way while turning the key. If not free then try steering wheel in the other direction. You have the weight of the vehicle working against you so you may have to pull fairly hard. Should free up by trying this.

 

Babyhuey is right. I have also experienced that before aand I managed to free it by turning on the key (no need to crank) and at the same time, pulled the steering wheel sideways.
