Default HELP! 2001 MPV dies at slow speeds

[:'(]HELP!!! Our 2001 MPV has been giving us problems for over one year now. Here is what happens.....van will die either while in idle waiting for a traffic light or when we are coming to a stop...so maybe going about 5-10 mph. Ok so we took it to the dealership here but no one can figure out what is wrong. So far they replaced the following...fuel valve (i'm not car savvy so i may be calling it the wrong thing), PCM, coils, alternator, cam sensor...oh and we replaced the battery at Sears maybe about 3 months ago. When they changed the alternator the van worked fine for about 6 months then all of a sudden this past July it started dying again! This is frustrating because I really love this van, but its scary to drive around my little one if the van just dies all of a sudden. Please help! I hope BabyHuey is out there! Mahalo.

Hard to say. The IAC valve controls the idle basicly. Pretty common failure. The fact that replacing the alt fixed it for a few months would lead me to check all connections/grounds and the ECT. Do you ever run injector cleaner in the gas tank,or clean the throttlebody? That would be a regular maintenance to do thing. I like Techron and Seafoam myself as they decarbon the valves/pistons. Just pour it in the gas tank and drive.
