Default Factory Installed Plugs - 2002 Mazda MPV?

I am curious if anyone has any idea of how I can find out what the brand of the spark plugs that were factory installed in my 2002 MPV are? Is there some source that can cross reference my VIN number or something to tell me what the factory put in? Mazda dealers have only been able to tell me what the OEM part or what the current replacement plug they use is. I am having an issue with a repair shop where I think they did not complete the work I was told they did. Now I have to basically prove that the original plugs were never replaced in the cylinders 1-3, which just happen to be the cylinders that require the intake manifold to be taken off = $$$. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I would like to recover the $$ I spent for a a deceptive repair job.

BobbyT-
That is what the Mazda Dealer told me, but they also told me that those plugs are the current plugs they use when they have to replace old ones. They said that the plug number has been updated and that it does not necessarily mean that they were the ones that were factory installed. Did you find that info from a Mazda Dealer or some other resource that is directly related to what was factory installed? Surely somebody has a record of what parts were put in my van....right?

If the shop supposedly changed all 4 plugs, all 4 in your engine should be the same brand and have similar wear on the electrode for you to compare.

The three back plugs are definitely older and corroded when compared to the front plugs which look shiny and new. All 6 are the same brand (NGK), but the shop that did the original plug change (about 5,000 miles ago) is saying they changed all six at the same time. There in lies the issue. They are in turn questioning that the second shopis showing me the real plugs. They think the other shop found and gave me three old and then three new plugs. If I am able to determine that the Factory plugs could have been NGK's then I have an argument to get my money back from the original shop. I have no reason to believe that the second shop is pulling one over. The second shop also stated it was pretty common practice to replace the plenum gaskets once you have taken the intake manifold off. The first shop did not do this or even mention it.

Any insights?

I don't recall NGK's ever being standard issue from the factory. I like the plugs, but I don't think Mazda/Ford ever used those as OEM.
